| | My arrival in St. Johann station, Tirol, Austria - after an exhausting trip. Flight was 10 and a half hours, then approx. 6 more hours by train. It was WORTH it. The scenery olong the train route was spectacular. Brain & I were a little concerned that there was not as much snow as we had hoped... |

| | My FIRST day of Ski School (VERY nervous). Waiting for the bus to take us to the "bunny" slopes at Baumoos. The ski boots were murder to walk in! I realised that skiing was not as glamorous as the Peter Styvesant adverts portrayed it to be... I decided I WAS determined to learn to ski even if I fell umpteen times. Failure was not an option. |

| | Going up the mountain in the gondola. It was one of the highlights of my day - the view on the way up is spectacular! Also, the anticipation of the ski run down from the top. I loved it! |

| | My second week at ski school - I joined Brian's group. They were such an amazing, fun, humorous group. We had a great week together although I think we wore Brian out totally and stretched his patience to the limit. He is a great instructor and made learning to ski such fun! |
